RE: [TCLUG:23152] Installing Red Hat
I used to use RH but am switching to Debian. Debian has a similar package
manager plus Debian has software to convert RPM to a Debian's .deb package
format. Debian also claims to have a lot more software available for their
system then other distros. I have order the 2.2 version from cheapbytes
yesterday. 9.99 plus 8.95 for shipping. That is includes the complete 6 cd
set. This also includes the source code. The lastest version (2.2), I have
been told, is kernel 2.4 ready. I am hoping that there is, or will be,
support for external USB Ethernet card support.

Subject: [TCLUG:23152] Installing Red Hat
Well I'm sure that this question has been asked thousands of times before
but I
will ask it again. I want to get Red Hat 7.0 installed. And all I have at my
disposal is a fast internet connection. Solutions?
