I did a while ago. There's a program that's compatible with cuseeme, I
forgot the name (qseeme? something...) 

What it does is it'll capture an area on the screen and send that to the
other end, so I'd run xawtv, have the webcam display on that, and send
THAT over... what can I say, it worked, although we didn't try audio. Yes,
the other side was a Windoze box.
