Trendnet external modem

Hi *,

General Nanosystems has this external modem for $54.99. Anyone familiar with
it? Specs are at:

TranMicro has internal PCI modems listed, but it isn't clear which are
winmodems and which are safe. See http://www.tranmicro.com/modems.htm

Will the people there be able to give me a definite answer?
