GUI Mail Client

A few months ago I started running CSC Mail, which (unknown to me at the
time) is a MS Outlook look-alike mail client (I have never so much as
seen Outlook). I really like the look & feel of this client, but as the
mailboxes begin to fill, the client runs preogreesively slower until it
is crawling at a rate at which it takes 5-10 seconds to delete a single
mail from a box. For this reason I abandoned CSC Mail... Installation
can also be *very* tricky, if you can't do a live install.

I had a chat with the developers, and it was their suggestion that I
create an SQL database to store the mails, a topic that is outside the
scope of my knowledge. The developers claim that with an SQL database,
the program does not limp so badly under load. Were it not for the speed
issues, I would still be using it today.

But what I would REALLY like is to see a full-on port of Eudora Pro for
Linux; (IMO) Eudora must be the greatest line of mail clients ever
developed. You just can't beat the look, feel and featureset of good old
Eudora. I just can't see how the world of Linux would ever be complete
without Eudora Mail. Flames welcome.
