Re: [TCLUG:21970] Should DSL or Cable modem



I had EXTREMELY GOOD service using them with VISI.com.  My only problem was
that I wanted higher bandwidth than 256K.  After I had my Concentrix (XO)/
Covad install initiated, USWest went 640K.  Too late for me.  That's all
right, I am now getting 145 KB/s down 30 KB/s up.  I would have stayed with
the USWest/VISI.com deal if I would have know about the change.  It would be
a bit cheaper and the connection was more stable.  I am sure the same goes
for real-time.com.
