Thanks for the advice, but what I was trying for was an alias, so that a
directory NOT part of the DocumentRoot Tree would also be able to serve
pages.  RIMPS is a PHP "application" thus its strange location.

What you said would likely work, but I've already got things working the way
I wanted.
