Where is Cygnus now? (was Re: [TCLUG:17968] Debian error)

Now that Redhat has eaten up Cygnus - we can except Microsoft/Redhat Linux
(or the equivalent) to follow on in its wake.  I am afraid we may be moving
to a world of commercial linux software - proprietary and closed source.
