I run my drives in LBA mode. If you have UDMA66 hardware you have to run it in
LBA mode to get the UDMA66 support. I have never had a problem with this. The
almighty Debian (Greatest Distro of all) recognizes and installs fine. 

Of course it _is_ superior....
