RE: [TCLUG:15253] Ride needed to conf from near downtown Mpls



Because it's not Debian, of course!  :)

Linux!  Vi!  Slackware!  Perl!  Mountain Dew!  AMD!

What more need be said?

We should just have a big survey on TCLUG where we can see where
people stand.

UNIX?  Editor?  Distribution?  Language?  Beverage?  Processor?  Sexual
Preference?  I think it'd be interesting to have one big table and see it all.

How about providing a personal reason why you prefer Debian over RedHat?  I
think that may answer his question.  What's better/worse in RH 6.2 v.
Debian?

I'm not flaming you - really, I'm not - I have no personal experience with
Debian, and I'm kind of curious to see what the big deal is.

I've tried RH 6.0 - it worked ok.  I've tried SuSE 6.3 - it worked great on
the desktop and awful on the laptop.

Should I try Debian?
