RE: [TCLUG:14898] experience



I guess I'd be more impressed if I couldn't get 128MB of 
Micron PC100 locally at Tran Micro for $89.  Seriously, Que
Computers got sued some years back for illegally pirateing
Microsoft software.  I wouldn't trust them at all.  They certainly
aren't as great as Tran Micro or even General Nanosystems.

I've got a Prostar Laptop from www.quecomp.com (local guys)

It works great, the modem it comes with is PCMCIA so I know it works.  The
audio works pretty well too.

It's the 13.3" TFT K62-350 model, I don't know if it's in stock or they have
to order it, but it's worth the trip to look.  Incedentally,. they have 128M
ram for $89 right now (last week)
