I've had problems with my ulnar (sp?) nerve (the funny bone nerve),
rather than the carpal. The ulnar controls the pinky and part of
the ring finger. For me, the Kinesis Professional has been a
*huge* improvement. The keys on the thumb take a while to get used
to, but it's worth every penny I spent on it.
The only drawback is that, for programmers, the curly brace keys
(and square brackets) are in weird places. I haven't figured out
yet where it makes sense to remap them.
