You'll want to check planetquake.com or idgames.com, but last I heard,
Carmack *wasn't* releasing the windows->linux conversion kits (like he did
with Q2) for a month or three, so that they could get some idea of how many
boxed Q3-for-Linux units they could sell.  That time may have expired by
now, though -- I haven't been paying much attention.
