samba

Hey gang,
I am having problems with samba. I am trying to add a samba server to an
NT network. There is one NT server and several win98 machines. The idea
is that once we migrate all of the stuff over to the samba server. The
NT machine goes away. My problem is that the only machine that seems to
be able to see the damn samba server is the NT box. I can see and log in
with that. The win98 machines can't locate it at all. I have edited the
lmhosts file properly (As I did on my home network) and still no avail.
I know the server is right because the NT Server can talk to samba fine.
Below is a dump from a testparm of my smb.conf (And yes I know it's
insecure, I just want to get it working for now) I also added the samba
box to my domain with the server manager on the NT Domain controller. I
get no helpful errors in the logs. The box is a Debian Potato box with
2.2.1 kernel. I am absolutely clueless. Any help would be greatly
appreciated. I should also not that nbtstat \A <IP ADDRESS> froma dos
prompt on the mosbehaving windows machines shows the samba server but
nbtstat \a chewbacca does not. Also, "net view" seems to accomplish
nothing except on the NT Machine. TIA
