Use for what? I frequent comp.linux.*, comp.unix.*, and comp.lang.c
for technical stuff and rec.arts.anime.misc, rec.humor.oracle,
alt.humor.best-of-usenet, alt.adjective.noun.verb.verb.verb,
rec.games.design, and the scary devil monastery for general time-wasting.
Your best bet is to find your newsreader's search function and work from
there...
