Using Two Modems...
In the pursuit of high-speed connectivity options where ISDN and DSL
lines are not available, I've settled in on the idea of using two
modems in tandem.
We are sending WinNT machines and a few Win95 out to two of our
satellite offices, each office needing LAN connectivity to the
internet. I know WinNT supports "multi-link" natively, and I may be
able to find a proxy software to use as well. However, I've been
presented with the option to use Linux on a couple 486 boxes, as I had
suggested at one point to my boss.
What I'd like to know is whether or not Linux will support IP
Masquerading over two modems in a "shared bandwidth" mode. Anyone
know where I could find out?
