It depends on what type of internal modem it is. Because there are so many
differnet types (PnP, software controlled, Jumpers, Dip switched, etc.) I have
always gone with external modems. Plus if you ever want to disconnect real fast
or the modem locks up, you just flip a switch on the external modem. That's just
my $.01.
