As far as the cable modems go they really are pretty good. I'm actually in
Duluth and I recently got one. Costs me $40 a month for the line and
service. Speed is decent. Average download speed is around 20k / sec, but I
have hit 158k/sec before. However, my only complaint is that my cable
provider will not allow me to set up servers on the line (that costs a minimum
of $400 a month) But for residential use they are great.
