ide irq, timeout and machine lockups
I upgraded my mother board and CPU today. When I boot up
I see the following messages and occasionaly the machine will
lock up. The message log contains the IRQ timeout message in it.
This also shows up when I reboot the machine.

A search on altavista.com yielded this, but this is I think in
finnish which I know not. I am guessing that it says I must
boot to windows and then do a soft reboot into linux or something
like that, but any body understand this ?

> Solution:
> verkko- ajuri toivu ongelmasta.
> unmountattu, virrat hetkeksi pois. (Sama ohje löytyy luokan
> seinältä.)

The motherboard is a the C300 from micronics with the intel 440LX
chipset running a 333MHz Celeron.
And the lockups happen when I am in Xwindows and am running
netscape and a the acrobat reader and a few compiles on the
hdd1.
Thanks for any help.
