I am recruiting for a Network Engineer for one of my clients, which is in
the business of investing in and incubating companies that offer Internet
business-to-business solutions.

Position Description
You will drive the definition and management of the next generation of Web
portals and large, scalable server infrastructures. Responsibilities include
building world-class e-commerce structure, customer service knowledge bases,
network usage applications, and network infrastructure. The candidate should
feel comfortable in working with the engineering team to design and spec out
application-level designs that work well with the server infrastructure. We
are a dynamic start-up where you may be required to wear different hats.

Position Criteria/Required Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate possesses the following background:
-BS (required) in Computer Science or similar field
-3+ years of experience in building and supporting large-scale server
infrastructures
-Web, application, and database server technology experience is a must
-Experience and background in networking, network architecture planning, Web
security, e-commerce, network monitoring, database connectivity, disaster
recovery planning and web applications
-Windows 2000 Advanced Server administration in these specific areas is a
plus: IIS, DNS, DHCP, system security, Load Balancing, clustering, Active
Directory
