Maybe the recipes are too difficult, and you need more mental
experience, an enchanted cauldron or more luck.

The server at 24.93.158.219 has no problems uncursing items or
enchanting weapons.  But note that not all gods uncurse items, and not
all weapons can be enchanted by your god.
