This is just plain wrong. My barbarians _could_ easily have Pow 30 ---
so why would a wizard with Pow 30 be better at spellcasting?

It seems many people, even developers, still consider crossfire to be
a "roleplaying game". It has roleplaying elements, but that's about
it.

Any class, except for the challenge classes (fireborns, Quetzalcoatls,
Monks, Wraiths? (not sure about them)) can be anything they want;
the different attribute limits are more of an annoyance than a real
difference between classes. The only exception is the Monk --- he has
the "meditation" skill, which can not be gotten by any other means;
so monks are the best spellcasters in the game.
