Wow... never found that one. I 'm still waiting to either find or
win the cloak of magic resistance.

Abusive?

Faces of death is one of the few spells that highlevel characters still cast.

Garbage items (sorry... they aren't worth a dime).
Here is my list of "this is all I ever need" (hold on a second... I have
to start crossfire to see my inventory):
It's sort of hard to tell. I guess I should make an item list first:
- several talisman (talismen? talismans?) -> not abusive
- totem of the fire god -> not abusive
- lockpicks of high quality -> not abusive
- helmet of xray vision +12 and helmet of brilliance +12 -> not abusive
- speed boots and levitation boots -> not abusive
- gauntlets of dexterity -> not abusive
- Girdle of the fire god -> not abusive
- mithril chainmail of winter +12 (abusive? It does make things a lot easier)
- Midnight Robe +12 (just in case I need some more spellcasting) -> abusive?
- cloak of greater protection -> not abusive
- cloak of invisibility -> definitiely not abusive
- primary weapon: Dragonbane +21 (aattacks: physical, fire, electricity,
cold, confusion, drain, weaponmagic, poison, fear, depletion, death)
-> abusive
- Demonslayer +21 (attacks: fire, electricity, cold, confusion, drain,
weaopnmagic, poison, fear, depletion, death)
-> abusive
- amulet of Holiness -> not abusive
- amulet of the Magi (one of each kind) -> not abusive
- a couple of amulets of lifesaving -> not abusive
- bracers of dexterity -> not abusive
- Greyshield +12 -> abusive? But not part of standard dist,
so it doesn't count.
If you don't have Greyshield maps, use a Demonspawn shield with both
reflection types and a cloak of darkness; if you don't have maps with
dread knights, use a polished shield. -> not abusive
- couple of rods -> not abusive
- Golden unicorn horn -> not abusive (takes long to recharge)
- horn of fire -> dunno
- couple of Jagre's Horns -> abusive (Greyshield maps)
- Scepter of the fire god -> maybe abusive (doesn't need to recharge)
- 2 rings of elrond -> abusive?
- Ring of Power
- A couple of Lepred's bags -> not abusive (Greyshield maps)
- a cauldron with negative weight -> abusive
- a key ring of holding -> not abusive
- a bunch of glowing crystals from Takisis -> not abusive
- potions -> not abusive
- bow of auriga +3, crossbow of auriga +3 -> not abusive
- waybreads
This equipments doesn't ever change, unless I find something even better
(currently I would like to have a white dragon scale mail from pupland
and a cloak of magic resistance from pupland; I also wouldn't mind
finding a cloak of the underworld and a good amulet, as the "amulet slot"
and the "cloak slot" are basically free).
Since I never change my equipment, except for switching to the "spellcasting
configuration" every now and then, or changing between the Dragonbane and
the Demonslayer, all of the above could be potentially "abusive" -:)
I'm also planning to enchant an Axe of B1FF to get some of my stats up ---
abusive?
