  Try scrolling it swiftly with a window that obscures part of it.  I bet
you aren't handling the GraphicsExpose events properly (they're fairly
difficult to handle).

ok, I am fairly new to X windows, as is Frank, if you find a problem with
the GraphicsExpose, please let Frank or myself know, so it can be corrected.
