(ASCEND) MAX 6048 and actiontech Modems.

Does anyone have any init strings to get these to work togeather? Anyone had
any experience with the two? I have a customer who has one of the Actiontech
Call waiting modems and is having trouble connecting, staying connected, and
connecting but cannot "surf" the web. Seems like a problem with ppp or
tcp/ip once connected...bit have no idea what to do on the init strings.
Looked the web over and the usuak 56k sites, but cannot find anything on
them. ANy ideas? Does anyone have or know of a lists of modems that work
well or bad with the MAX 6048?
