Sorry, but you won't be able to find an OID for CPU utilization because
there is none for the Max 4000.  The same goes for the Max 6000 and the
TNT.

Does anyone know if you can retrieve CPU utilization stats for Max 4000
series
boxen via SNMP, a la what you can do with Cisco routers?

I've looked high and low all over the place, but can't seem to locate an
OID
to use. Has anyone "been there, done that"?

On a side issue, the FAQ list at http://www.nealis.net/ascend/faq/ is
surprisingly short on Frequently Asked Questions. Can anyone point me in
the
direction of a more up-to-date list? If we could change the URL appended
to
every mail message sent to this list also, it would be great.
