(ASCEND) DSL in Australia

Hello,

I currently have a TNT used for modem dialup, I'm wondering if anyone has
used a TNT for DSL in Australia and who
to contact to get the copper (Telstra??) required to use DSL.  After reading
the manuals on the TNT there seems two
modes of operation, with a carrier and without.

BTW: I've just joined the list, and just purchased a TNT so I'm a newbie.
