Re: (ASCEND) Filter to block windows networking



Block ports 137 and 138. I believe this is normally blocked by Pipelines.
Don't know about Maxes.
Block 255.255.255.255 and 224.0.0.1 or something (you can find it in MS
Course 688:internetworking with Microsoft TCP/IP on MS Windows NT 4.0) for
WINS discovery. Remember that netbeui doesn't work across routers.

I wonder why you want connectivity to your network and yet want to block
windows networking. Seems contradictory.
