(ASCEND) Max 6000 - TAOS 7.2.3 - Rockwell HFC disconnects

Is anyone else having reliability problems with Rockwell HFC modems under
TAOS 7.2.3? Speed is not an issue but reliability is. We have had great
success with all other brand modems including LT Winmodems. We use PRIs
for all customers.

We have a handful of people that are getting disconnected and having a
problem connecting. The common thread is that they are all using modems
with the Rockwell HFC chipset.

Here is a modem dump from one of them:

ATI1 255
ATI2 OK
ATI3 2.1.2.134
ATI4 ROCKWELL HCF 56K FAX, PCI MODEM
ATI5 181
ATI6 DP REV BA
ATI6 V90 SPX RAM VER 29
AT16 V90 CTL RAM VER 29
ATI6 K56 FLEX SPX RAM VER 47
ATI6 K56 FLEX CTL RAM VER 47
ATI7 255
AT+FCLA 0.1

The client computer is a compaq Presario 5070 and the modem was factory
installed.
