(ASCEND) Ascend mib-II compliance

Hello.



I am interested in trying to understand how the WAN interface information
is identified when a link up/trap is received from a Max4000/6000.  A
sniifer trace of the trap PDU shows null characters where I believe the
interface information should be.  Can anyone tell me how a management
station identifies the specific interface causing a link up/down?   We are
trying to integrate our Ascend equipment into our network management
system, using standard mib-II file definitions.   Is Ascend Mib-II
compliant?
