(ASCEND) pipeline and accounting

Hi - I'm looking for a perl script (or any UNIX script) 
which will help me crunch the syslog entries on a UNIX 
system from a Pipeline 50's and 75' for accounting purposes.

Need to know total time and number called at the minimum.  

I searched the archives and wasn't able to locate a script.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
