(ASCEND) I can see the world but no local hosts (Max 6000)

Hi

I am testing a new max 6000 on my network using cistron radius - when I
dail in via 56k modem - using a unix account from the local radius host -
the max 6000/radius combo lets me connect and I get PPP and can see the
world out side my domain via ping and html, but I can not connect to any of
my local servers like www.netlink.net.au at all not even a little ping.

I can see other virtual servers just outside my net on a second either card
but on different subnet - so obviously I have stuffed up the route / ip
entries some were. 

Running lynx on the linux box were the radius server is running sees all
the world including my domain ( of which it is physically a part) so I
think it is either in the radius user profile ( I am just playing with
various profiles nothing set as yet and am still in the dark about a
usefull setup) or it is in the MAX setup ..

Any leads on were to look would be appreciated..
