(ASCEND) fucking pipeline

Hi,
i have a pipeline 50, dialing up with NAT (single ip address).
i configured the pipeline to 128K and every few minutes (it is not
permanent), it stops route. the line are still connected, i am doing: sh
ip address. i see the address but i can't ping it. i tried both MP and
MPP. i disable rip and rip2. i have tried to put idle timer=0, and the
maximum. it doesn't help. meanwhile i configured it to 64k and it seems
to work well but it's not enough bandwidth.
by the way it dials up to a Cisco access path.
any suggestions?
