(ASCEND) TNT: move modems off of suspect list?
I have a TNT running 2.1.3. The phone company here had a bunch of
problems yesterday, which resulted in many calls getting dumped very
quickly. I now have 40+ modems on the "suspect" list (out of about
576 total). I realize that they should take calls again once all of the
other modems are in use....but that currently won't happen because
we have a bunch of extra capacity that stays idle these days. Bottom
line is that I'd like to manually move them off of the suspect list, because
I know there's nothing wrong with them.
I've searched the manuals and the mailing list archives, but I just
can't figure out how to do this. I've tried disabling and
re-enabling the modems, but they just come back up into the
"Reserved" state. I've also played around with the modem-disable-mode
attribute, and the device-state profiles, to no avail. The
up-status attribute in the device-state profile shows the
"reserved-up-status" setting...but it is a read only attribute.
Can modems on a TNT be forced off of the suspect list by an administrative
command??
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
