Thank You in Advance for your Help
Outline:
We have purchased an Ascend MAX 2000 with twelve modems using a
switched T1 line. In order to allow remote clients to access our
Windows
NT network. Our clients are using Win 95/98 and NT Workstations.
Problem:
When trying to logon to NT Domain from a NT Workstation
(Using the Dialup Networking logon option) the workstations receives
an error message stating "Unable to logon Domain Controller is
unavailable".
Observed
Behaviors:
* NT workstation using cached profile can access domain
resources.
* The NT workstations can also access the network when they are
configured
as workgroup member..
* The Win 95/98 clients have no problem.
* Additionally, all clients can logon using RAS and the LAN.
