  A quick search on the archive from this list shows plenty of messages a year
ago from people claiming to have tickets at least a year and a half before
that. I remember several discussions on this topic where the best fix that was
provided (obviously not from Ascend!) was to go buy a competing product,
basically all of which don't have this problem.

  I guess that Ascend hasn't implemented a fix after two and a half years of
issuing people ticket numbers.
