(ASCEND) P130 and T1

I am new to the list as of today. I was wondering what the consensus
was as to using a T1 with the Pipeline 130? We have had good results
with 128k ISDN and decided to upgrade. As far as the ISP is concerned,
everything is configured correctly. We are using 5.1Ap1 and/or Ap9
and we do have steady carrier indication. I will try the loopback
tests, but so far the telco checks out on the line (hmm).

Nailed T1 is configured for ESF/B8ZS, First DS0=1, Last DS0=24, clock=no,
Group 3.
Configure menu is set to ATT P-T-P, Leased/Unused, with correct IPs
and names, no auth.
Connections/IP Options has LAN and IF addr set to ISP spec. I have
read of problems setting IF addr. We are connecting to some sort of
Cisco router, and the ISP claims they have several connections to
P130s while defining the serial address on the Cisco.

The 130 tries to connect, fails, then reboots itself about every 3 or
4 minutes. We are on our second P130 since it was the ISP and Ascend's
assertion that the first one had a bad internal CSU or WAN 2 port.
I thought so, too, but it now appears to be a problem with the line
itself.

Any further thoughts on this once popular subject?
