(ASCEND) Weird traceroute to pipe130s

I have a bunch of 56K model pipe 130s and when doing a traceroue the router
responds with an ip 0.2.0.0.  This seems to happen with either numbered or
unnumbered interfaces, on 4.6C as well 5.1A.  It doesn't really seem to
hamper the performance at all but it did seem a tad odd.  Does anyone know
the reason for this?  Thanks,
