(ASCEND) RADIUS static IP help

Greetings:

Running MAX 4048 here with NavisRadius and having
difficulty getting a static address allocated for
a dial-up ISDN user.

Here's a typical radius profile we're trying to use:

# static ISDN dial-up user
isdnuser Password = "foobar"
 Service-Type = Framed,
 Framed-Protocol = PPP,
 Framed-MTU = 1500,
 Framed-Compression = Van-Jacobson-TCP-IP,
 Framed-Address=205.nnn.nnn.nnn,
 Framed-Netmask=255.255.255.255,
 Port-Limit = 1,
 Ascend-Maximum-Channels = 1,
 Ascend-Idle-Limit = 900

Unfortunately this does not seem to work ...
the user gets authenticated, but gets allocated an
address out of the (one) pool defined on the MAX.

(The Framed-Address provided in the radius profile
is NOT in the pool, but is in the network that the
pool and MAX's address is in.)

We tried Ethernet > Mod Config > WAN opt > Pool only
set to both Yes and No with no luck.

Any ideas or pointers?
Thanks in advance for any assistance, and happy holidays!
