RE: RE: (ASCEND) Max rebooting



	It seems like there was something in the release notes for 6.1.24
(or maybe one of the 7.x.x releases) that talked about fixing a problem with
the system not showing fatal-history messages after a reboot.  Look through
the list of tickets that a firmware's release notes has that it resolves.
We are still running 6.1.24  because it's been stable for two months without
a hiccup, so that's why I think it may be in those notes.  I did take a peak
at a one of the 7.x.x releases' notes, so if you don't find it in the 6.x.x
look in the 7.  Hope this helps.

		6.1.7 for the max 4000 had a memeory leak that would reboot
me every  
		week or so....

		maybe this is the issue.

		Yes, sure. But everytime we had fatal reboots during the
last
		weeks the fat told us "Fatal Error xxx" and "System is up" a
minute
		later.

		But this time we had only a "System is up" and no Errors or
Warnings.
		I didn't know that this could happen.
