(ASCEND) static routes and stacking

I have two stacked Maxes, say 192.168.10.10 and 192.168.10.11.  All my
customers have static ip pools and are set with the .10 Max as their
default gateway.  This is all working fine unless I have a static route to
the .10 and the user is dialed into the .11 router.  Am I to believe that
stacking and static routes are incompatable or is this a bug with 5.0Ap42?
Removing the static route and a clear ip route fixed the problem.  It
doesn't seem like it's always a problem however.  Anyone see this before?
