RE: (ASCEND) Big modem pool




That also depends on your telco, as Southwestern Bell refuses to provide a
DS3 worth of PRI.  We get something similar from Time Warner, but it's
ATM.  We just pull PRI (as well as DS3 of bandwidth and a frame-relay
connection) off an OC-3 circuit.  Lead times on PRI installations are
basicly "When do we need it up," which is nice for growing pools and
capacity planning.
