(ASCEND) Max Reset

For no apparent reason, a Max4048 started resetting itself here about every
5 minutes tonight...

The message in fatal-history shows:

FATAL ERROR:  Index: 8  Load: ftik.m40 Revision: 6.0.2
        Date: 04/08/1998.       Time: 18:16:51
        Location: b0055dd4 00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000

This happened a few times before it stabilized itself...   The unit has
been running 6.0.2 a little over a week without incident and was previously
running 6.0.0 with a 

FATAL ERROR:  Index: 8  Load: ftik.m40 Revision: 6.0.0
        Date: 03/28/1998.       Time: 12:34:35
        Location: b0055dd0 00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000

about 12 days after "upgrading" from 5.0Ap42...    

Anyone know what this is all about??
