RE: (ASCEND) Ascend Pipeline50 and DHCP

This should not be happening. I have a similar setup with NTS 4.0 acting
as DHCP server, WINS server, et. al. I assume that you have the P-50 setup
for routing and not bridging. Also, is the NTS machine on the LAN subnet
and not the same subnet as the IP address at the ISP.

Subject: (ASCEND) Ascend Pipeline50 and DHCP

I have a P50 router on my network of which provides web access to my 95
clients,
I running NT4 with DHCP to allocate IP's. The network all seems to
operate fine except that that the NT server running DHCP keeps opening
the lSDN line every 2 minutes.
I have spoken to my ISP and they have assured me that they have put in
the filters for broadcasts etc. Is it a problem with my server issuing
valid IP requests?, and how do I stop it. Or should my router have
another filter applied?

The server stops polling if I remove the default gateway out of the
network settings, but this stops my RAS clients connecting to the web.

Can any help me?
