Yup. I wouldn't do it again (and haven't). It was our very first Max and
we didn't know better :-(

Thanks to the list archive, I had no trouble finding the information on
fan replacement, and we ordered new ones. We should have them by the
time we need to put the box with the broken fans in service.

It wasn't new, but it was a spare. The goal was to put everything back
in service in hours, not days. I did have the fear in my mind, though,
that if I did anything wrong (e.g. I *HOPE* the new power supply is
compatible with the old motherboard!) I could have made a mess...
