(ASCEND) Max 6000 - setting 10BaseT?

Is it possible to set the Max 6000 ports to 10BaseT instead of 
auto-sense?  Can you tell what it is set to from the user interface?

We have some 6000s that could not arp when connected to some older 
10BaseT hubs and switches.  Ethernet port is fine when we use a crossover.
Replacing the hub was the only solution we can find.  I think it is
an auto-sense problem of some sort.
