Maybe they're using Ascend gear... :-)
I'd like to know how are they dealing with the disconnects issue... :-)

BTW, does anyone know how to *conclusively* condemn a modem card in MAX 4x
and/or 6x?
We got some INDEX 17 errors here (not more than 1 per month), and it's
related to "DSP failure", or "DSP protocol error" (I can't remember).
It causes MAX to reboot.
It's a rare occurence, but I want to be pro-active (I'm reading Dilbert by
now ;-)...
