(ASCEND) MAX refuses to provide login prompt 7.0.4 (fwd)

Found a 2nd MAX with nearly identical uptime with the same problem...

Based on calls records, this likely started Apr 9, or an uptime of around
32 days.

Hello,

I just rebooted a MAX 4000 running 7.0.4 (fti.m40) that had been running
for 35+ days.  It would accept PAP logins, but would not provide a prompt
of any kind for login-script users.  This caused numerous calls from
Macintosh users and older win3.1 users.  A reboot cleared the problem for
now.

Just thought many of you would want to be on the lookout for this.
