(ASCEND) Reply: Sniffing a session

Various vendors produce high-end boxes for passively tapping BRI/PRI.
Network Associates (formerly Network General) is one, implemented as an
external pod attached to a laptop via an ethernet link. 6K for the pod,
plus the cost of the laptop, the Sniffer software license, and the 10/100
card for the laptop.

Subject: (ASCEND) Sniffing a session

Anyone know if there is a way to sniff packets of a Pipeline 75 <-> max
4000
session? I have a situation where althought filters are in place - a
distant
Pipeline user's session won't drop. I have many other users similarly
configured
and they have no problem. Being able to sniff packets of the session
would
assist in trouble shooting. Is this possible?

Thanks.

Michael
