I realize this is a bit late, but it would help to know which set of cause
codes he is referring to.  There are ISDN cause codes (which are usually
reported by the pipeline customer routers, and then there are the Ascend
Disconnect/Progress cause codes which are reported by RADIUS.  It's more
likely that the cause code 88 he's referring to is a disconnect cause code
rather than an ISDN cause code (which I don't think goes above
60-something last I checked, which admittedly was a while ago).  Ascend
has published a list of Disconnect cause codes in the technotes and tips
page on its website.
