(ASCEND) Ascend Radius Attributes and RFC 2138 and 2139. (fwd)

Once upon a time Rob Myers shaped the electrons to say...
>Does anyone know what the equivalent attribute for "Ascend-PPP-Address" is
>in non-Ascend specific RADIUS?

Is this the one that assigns a special IP to the MAX end of the link?

I believe so, and if it is, then there is NO equal in the RFC. The RFC
doesn't not support this behavior.

Some other NAS may support such behavior with a VSA, but I don't know of
any offhand. I know that PortMaster's don't have any way to do this from
RADIUS, but they can from the locally stored user's table.
